The Sixth book in the Maximum Ride series, this novel is based mainly on the main character Max, and her soul-mate and best friend Fang. If you have read any of the books in the series, you would know that Max and the other five members of her family are bird kids, kids with wings. In this book, The flock (Max and the others) are helping out in Africa, when Angel, the youngest of the flock and a notorious mind-reader, predicts that Fang is going to die.
