Quick word from Myla

Besides loving books so much I made a blog to talk about them, I am also a writer. Myla is one of the characters in a story I am writing, and she wants to say hi. "....Um....hi?" She is very enthusiastic about checking out some of the books I talk about, and I hope you will be too. Once I actually get followers...if I ever do...

The Amulet of Samarkand by Johnathan Stroud

The Amulet of Samarkand

by Jonathan Stroud

A thrilling novel about djinns and magicians, finds Nathanial, a twelve year old apprentice magician, summoning a powerful djinn to do his bidding. Half told through Nathanial, and half through the djinn, the story is drawn into a dramatic conflict, when The djinn learns the boys true name. This story has a remarkable storyline, and I really enjoyed reading it.

Another five stars.
